En revanche, j’espère simplement que nos amis anglais vont continuer à consommer nos vins et notamment Ch. Hervé-Laroque qui marche assez fort outre-Manche!

Après cette belle campagne primeurs et cette actualité débordante, j’ai fait un petit tour sur les sites internet des très exigeants journalistes anglais Decanter & Jancis Robinson… et j’y ai trouvé, oh bonheur, de beaux commentaires et des notes très flatteuses que vous trouverez ici:

Ch. Hervé-Laroque 2007 par Jancis Robinson – 16,5/20

Aged in oak barrels for 17 months. Lovely maturity on the nose – cedar, earth, ripe blackcurrant fruit. 2007 is the gift that keeps giving for Bordeaux vintages under-valued and over-performing. Loads of length and breadth. Tannins are very soft now.

Ch. Hervé-Laroque 2012 par Decanter – 90 points

An opulent, slightly charred nose, with dense blackberry fruit. the palate brings lots of freshness and lift, with a fine natural ripeness and bold, chewy tannins. It is slightly rustic and quite long. A very good modern Fronsac. Drink 2016-2026
